Overview

The business imperative of developing and supporting healthy Chick-fil-A Market Ecosystems has placed more emphasis than ever on the development and integration of new non-traditional restaurant concepts. This emphasis has served as a catalyst for growth in this area and requires more intentional focus than ever before to ensure the sustainability and success of these non-standard concept types. The need to influence strategic direction to ensure long term financial health, pursue automation and integration sequences to establish scalable supporting infrastructure, and create analytical competency and insights to ensure an accurately informed narrative is as great as it ever has been as Non-Traditional Restaurant portfolio continue to grow at a rate far outpacing incremental growth in core restaurants. This Sr. Project Lead will support unique demands within the complex and diverse workstreams of Non-Traditional Restaurants (e.g. Analytics, Project Management, Compliance, etc.). This role will serve on the Restaurant Accounting Strategy team that primarily supports On-Demand Platforms (ODP), Non-Traditional Restaurants (NTR), and other Big Move initiatives directly impacting Restaurant Operators and has a primary focus on the following: 1.) Working with Non-Traditional partners to convert business problems/questions into insightful Tableau Visualizations including enhancements and maintenance of existing visulations. 2.) Support from inception to completion financial process integration and analytical visualization to measure new NTR concepts. 3.) Leading the OCV (Operator Captive Venue) and LCV (License Captive Venue) Taskforces and all compliance initiatives around NTR concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Non-Traditional partners to convert business problems/questions into effective analytics reports and insights. This role will primarily be responsible for insightful Tableau Visualizations including enhancements and maintenance of existing visulations. and data curation via Alteryx or similar for single dashboard presentations or ad hoc analyses.

  • Works comfortably with large and complex datasets that span multiple areas of the organization, and understands how to blend and model data effectively

  • Solves complex analytics problems requiring synthesis of diverse inputs from internal and external sources through the application of a comprehensive suite of descriptive and diagnostic methods and select predictive methods, with minimal oversight

  • Confidently leverages a broad suite of standard analytics tooling that may require unique or complex integrations across systems while coaching others to do the same, including Tableau, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot, and AWS services

  • Develop concept specific financial performance profiles and benchmarks that aid in our understanding of Operator opportunity viability, Chick-fil-A Inc. specific financial health, and long term financial sustainability.

  • Create and maintain supporting processes for new restaurant concept types not yet integrated into existing systems (e.g. OCV Playbook).

  • Influence and inform NTR location lease agreements to ensure the appropriate financial foundation is in place for future business needs and Operator success.

  • Lead formally established (e.g. OCV & LCV Taskforces) and informal compliance initiatives established to support financial activity beyond the restaurant via direct cross-functional partnerships.

  • Keen understanding of primary financial compliance and legal risks within NTR Restaurants.

  • Solve system and communication support gaps that exist for Non-Traditional Restaurants as the needs of the program evolve.

  • Lead the development of NTR specific analytical competencies capable of stewarding business information and insights to ensure informed growth.

  • Enhance the technical development of NTR Analytics capabilities.

  • Enact business principles that will inform analytical frameworks leveraged in our work.

  • Lead transaction level sales integration work in partnership with DTT to achieve systems integration with partner/3rd Party POS systems.

  • Enable auto-finalize and auto-reconciliation for Non-Traditional Restaurants.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Project management experience

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Proficient with Tableau

  • Comfort with Alteryx and SQL

  • Familiarity with cloud data storage and compute concepts, particularly AWS S3 and Redshift

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA

  • Relevant experience in financial analysis

  • Business process development, and change management
