We are looking for a proven leader to take over a mature team of Senior and Lead sourcing professionals managing strategic sourcing. Job Description

We are looking for a proven leader to take over a mature team of Senior and Lead sourcing professionals managing strategic sourcing. The successful candidate will be able to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction and cross functional alignment and decision ownership sharing. He/She will be able to Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

The preferred candidate will be able to:

  • Manage a team of roughly 7 to 9 Senior and Lead Commodity Managers. Has the ability to attract and retain talent as well as to develop expertise within the function. Has a growing reputation within the organization. Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization for alignment and shared ownership of decisions.

  • Drive team’s operating rhythm from both, strategic and tactical standpoints to achieve best possible sourcing outcomes for the company in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).

  • Provide guidance to each team member in day to day strategic and operational activities where required.

  • Drive the operating rigor for the team in managing Key Performance Indicators – KPIs (Cash & Savings, Vendor Recovery, On Time Delivery and On Time PO placement, etc.) as well as theoperating rigor on Supplier Strategy including management and optimization of supplier target panels. Lead major negotiations and make final calls in allocatingjobs to specific suppliers. Act as the escalation point on complex Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) negotiations and provide guidance and training on the subject to the less experienced team members.

  • Manage a team of roughly 7 to 9 Senior and Lead Commodity Managers. Has the ability to attract and retain talent as well as to develop expertise within the team. Has a growing reputation within the organization. Influences policy and ensures delivery within Sourcing, linking with other functions of the organization (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Project Management, etc.).

  • Presents business solutions to leaders in the Sourcing area. Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and externally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action.

  • Has major influence on assigned segment s within Gas Business. The role is guided by the Sourcing policies as well as influencing the new revisions of the same.

  • Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis. Use multiple internal and external resources outside of Sourcing to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management.

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Demonstrated people leadership skills with significant on the job team lead experience.

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $145,000-$241,600 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) Bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
