Overview

Supv, Business Operations role involves overseeing non-clinical support staff, including front desk operations, to ensure smooth clinic operations. Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of related job experience, or bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience. OR Graduation from the Operations Development Program (ODP).

  • Some jobs in this classification may require 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications.

Description

Supervision of Business Office Operations:

Oversees non-clinical support staff, including front desk, call center, and more.

Provides ongoing feedback, addresses issues, and trains employees.

Administrative Management:

Develops and manages administrative goals and priorities aligned with departmental goals.

Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, interprets new directives, and implements changes.

Staffing and Hiring:

Conducts interviews and hires for open positions within the business operation.

Anticipates staffing needs and proactively addresses them.

Front Desk Operations:

Responsible for all front desk operations, ensuring patient flow and staff activity.

Leads Daily Huddles and utilizes them to improve service standards.

Process Improvement:

Advocates for and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business or customer service.

Participates in or leads process improvement teams related to enhancing patient experience.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Collaborates with other sections and administrative personnel to ensure consistent implementation of clinic policies.

Compiles information for reports and presentations, analyzes data, and develops recommendations for management consideration.

Budget and Billing:

Determines options for addressing budget issues and monitors timely billing information submission.

Coordinates purchase of medical and office supplies, maintains inventory levels

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (Light); 11-20 lbs ,0-33% of the workday (occasionally); 01-10 lbs 34-66% of the workday (frequently) Negligible 67-100% of the workday (constantly), Lifting 20 lbs max, Carrying of objects up to 10 lbs, Occasional to frequent standing & walking; Occasional to frequent sitting; close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing); Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
