TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Passion City Church
OBJECTIVE
To provide technical leadership to both Production staff and Door Holders, for Sunday gatherings and other events. Create an environment where staff and Door Holders love to serve the local church and can grow in understanding how to use his/her gifts to bring glory to God utilizing production technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the technical systems and respective Production Teams that execute Passion gatherings both large and small
Assist in cultivating, building, inspiring and leading a world class Production staff team
Build and maintain a highly functioning team of Production Door Holders
Provide key insights, recommendations, relationships and proposals on forward leaning production innovations
Conduit of relationship to key and core production contractor relationships
Proactively consider how to best use technology for the church and maximize department resources
Partner and key manager, forecaster and maintainer of Production Budget
Assist in planning and flow of Gatherings in relation to creative elements through a production lens
Ensure that all production equipment is working properly, develop maintenance schedule to ensure regular maintenance on gear including: cameras, lighting, A/V, and other production equipment and systems
Create new equipment proposals, source competitive quotes and assist in procurement of new equipment with the future in mind
Provide leadership and management to inventory across locations and in warehouses
Bring global oversight and leadership to production for all Passion City Church Atlanta locations, advising all other locations and Passion Conferences team as needed
Lead the charge and serve as Production Manager for events as needed
Facilitate production meetings to assist in strategizing, collaborating and determining how Production will work to support all gatherings and events
Create and implement systems to recruit and train staff and Door Holders, including designing a pathway for developing team members into new and future roles
Shepherd, mentor and coach the Production Staff and Door Holder Teams
Train staff and Door Holders on new equipment
Develop systems, processes, procedures and best practices for our teams

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL
5+ years of experience in church Production and/or a touring leadership role, educated in a related field, connected relationally in Production world on a national scale and has developed skills related to current Production technologies in high production ministry environments
Has led and is leading teams of skilled Production teams in multiple disciplines of output
Follows, creates, and can contextualize innovative Production technologies and trends in a ministry setting
Is highly organized with strong relational and project management skills
Sees challenges as inspiring opportunities to be solved
Works well under pressure and is able to receive critical feedback
Has administrative skills necessary to facilitate organization and clearly communicate information and details
Has the ability to mobilize people toward a common mission
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Related to budget - understands forecasting, project management, and day-to-day management
Has the ability to resolve conflicts and problem solve
Has the ability to be both relational and executional
