What You Will Do :

Guidehouse seeks qualified candidates as Training Program Specialists for government clients. Guidehouse continues to expand our capabilities in the areas of Training and Learning Development and seeks candidates to meet an ever-increasing demand for work that Guidehouse has proposed and expects to win.

The Training Program Specialist will be responsible for all facets of client-specific training programs, including planning the curriculum and learner experience, identifying and executing logistical activities in support of training execution, and managing training outcomes and learner results across web-based, distance learning, and instructor-led courses.

Job Description//Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training logistics (scheduling, reservations, communications)

  • Manage and maintain training program documentation (e.g., email communications, training materials, course rosters, attendance records, course evaluations)

  • Provide administrative and operations support to the client team, including managing the training calendar and course library

  • Conduct Learning Management System administration activities, including scheduling, enrollment, attendance, communications, and learner troubleshooting

  • Run training reports as requested and manage training assets within the LMS

What You Will Need :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 2+ years experience as a Training Specialist/Coordinator

  • Project management experience or certification

  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent training program activities with a focus on efficiency, quality, and customer service

  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience coordinating and tracking learner progress (course registration, course completion, receiving course credits)

  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem solving skills

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Advanced degree in relevant field

  • Experience interfacing with an enterprise Learning Management Platform

  • Experience supporting a training program(s) led by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
