Engineered Materials Solutions Senior Network Administrator in Attleboro, Massachusetts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our team. As the Senior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance. 

Position Summary:

Supports application development and business applications, providing optimal alignment of IT systems in support of business requirements. Provides support for business computer users and systems.  Supports implementation of all computer and electronic information handling systems, technical support, and programming.   Manages systems analysis, application development, and related IT functions required by the company.   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to users for software and hardware and interacts with all levels of staff, including manufacturing, office, and management.

  • Supports IT Networks, including network installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance, asset management, Microsoft Office 365 products

  • May serve as liaison with outsourcing provider for Oracle, Exchange, Cyber, and technical issues

  • Maintains external and internal web technical environment and liaisons with external web network provider

  • Support network switches, routers, and related equipment

  • Monitor and assist with maintenance of Hybrid Office 365 and Azure environments

  • Works with help desk to manage day-to-day PC end-user support function, and support help desk admin and outside contractors as needed

  • Tracks new technologies and trends and evaluates opportunities for EMS

  • Monitors Track-It Help Desk system; responds to support requests as needed

  • Ensures sufficient IT systems capacity to meet current and changing organizational needs. 

     

    Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS/AS Degree; 5-10 years of related experience

  • Understanding of networking principles, routing protocols, TCP/IP, network topologies

  • Windows server administration (3-5 years) including AD, DNS, DHCP

  • SQL Server, VMware environment and Nutanix AHV, End-User Support WAN Management (2-3 years)

  • Understanding of Veeam Backup software (2-3 years)

  • Excellent Human Relations and communication skills
