Job Description:

This position is responsible for growing existing customers and developing new customer relationships in the specialty lubricants market in US-North & Canada. This position actively works with local distribution partners to identify and specify new opportunities at current and prospective customers by promoting and selling DuPont MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants solutions for profitable business growth.

*Please note - This is a remote position with a preferred location in Canada. Frequent travel is expected between Canada and the US.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with end customers to identify application needs and translate into test design and product solution recommendations.

  • Identifies new business opportunities for targeted applications in Oil & Gas, power generation and distribution, as well as other industrial applications.

  • Collaborate directly with local channel partners in North America to achieve sales, business development goals and objectives in MOLYKOTE® aligned with business strategies and marketing plans.

  • Develops and builds relationships with customers, prospects, key influencers, decision makers and local channel partners in the specialty lubricants value chain.

  • Manage a pipeline of business opportunities that are aligned with strategy to deliver growth in target segments.

  • Identify, and develop solutions to solve customer problems resulting in new business opportunities and profitable revenue growth which will be documented in Salesforce.

  • Effectively negotiate pricing, supply agreements, credit and CDA with customers.

  • Demonstrates sales excellence and inspires excellence in others

  • Understands and proactively analyzes customer’s product and service needs, industry, and business.

  • Shares business, competitive and industry intelligence with Dupont counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc.) to promote increased revenue and value.

  • Provides sales forecasting on a monthly basis

  • Understands and utilizes the full power of Dupont including cross industry or product opportunities.

Minimum Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Tribology, or another related field. Master's Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Service in Lubricants (preferably Specialty Lubricants)

  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of products and targeted applications in Oil & Gas, power generation and energy distribution

  • Strong technical background in tribology is a must

  • Experience in sales, business development or Marketing in Specialty Lubricants or related industry is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to work independently and strong team player

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and with customers and distributors

  • Strong drive for results and a passion for developing new business with new customers

  • Use and knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

  • Experience utilizing trade shows and other channels along with different conferences both educational and customer oriented

  • Travel: This position requires 50% travel throughout Canada and the US.

  • Language: English, French (preferred)
