KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: Associate degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least two years related experience required in an HR background or field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Administration of the HRIS systems and ensures timeliness and accuracy of the data. Creates and updates processes for HRIS System including work instructions. Report HCM system issues and track solution progress. Create, modify, and run scheduled and as-needed, on-request reports for HR departments using UKG Business Intelligence/People Analytics, MS Access, MS Power BI, and MS Excel. Administer company health plans to new employees including assisting with benefit enrollments and changes. Manages the Leave of Absence process in conjunction with the Total Rewards Manager. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Assists with new-employee background checks. Assists with processing of terminations. Manage new-employee personnel files and documents into appropriate existing employee files. Assists with and releases internal communications to employees as needed. Coordinate the planning and preparation for employee recognition events, holiday parties and other HR activities. Manages the site badging system for employees on location. Works on special projects as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. PHYSICAL EFFORT Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity so as to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This includes regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate. Hand-Eye Coordination: must be able to regularly coordinate ones eyes with ones fingers, wrists, or arms to move, carry, or manipulate objects or to perform other job-related tasks. Manual Dexterity: must be able to regularly make quick, accurate, skillful, and coordinated movement with hands and arms to grasp, place, move, or use objects such as phone, computer, and other office equipment, tools, or controls. Agility: must be able to regularly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs to perform job tasks. This includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, Companys property surrounding facility, or additional work areas. Climbing / Kneeling: must be able to occasionally climb, kneel, bend over, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with balance. Lifting: must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance. Physical Strength: must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups.
