Job purpose

This opportunity offers a dynamic and multifaceted role within the corporate finance team. The successful candidate will manage the corporate general ledger, collaborating closely with multiple departments to ensure the accuracy of their financial results. A deep understanding of the corporate balance sheet will be essential to address inquiries from leadership. This position operates with minimal supervision and may involve planning and assigning tasks to personnel for specific projects, as well as providing coaching and guidance to junior analysts

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity of the corporate office.

• Record newly acquired fixed assets, track existing fixed assets, record depreciation, and account for asset disposition.

• Prepare month-end journal entries, upload actuals into OneStream, and perform account reconciliations.

• Assist with audit requests to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.

• Manage intercompany transactions and cost allocation between shared service and global subsidiaries.

• Assist junior analysts in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, review their work, and provide suggestions to ensure alignment with corporate policies.

• Become deeply knowledgeable of the corporate balance sheet. Prepare the quarterly balance sheet review for corporate leadership and be prepared to answer detailed questions regarding each account.

• Prepare and upload monthly forecasts into SAP and OneStream.

• Assist with various team projects and system implementations.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• SAP experience preferred

• OneStream experience preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Good organizational skills

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Highly driven/self-starter
