As Territory Sales Manager in the Southeastern United States, you will cover the non-Key Account General Industrial (GI) and Consumer Segment/Service Robotics (CSSR) accounts in support of ABB's Robotics & Discrete Automation division. The overall responsibility of this role is to generate and follow up on robot and robot systems leads and develop ABB's business with end customers and System Integrators for robotic products, systems, and services.This is a position with global grade 12This position reports to Director of Sales - East TerritoryYour responsibilities
Develop and implement plans to penetrate target list of end customers in the territory. Travel more than 70% of the time during a typical work week. Sell more than $6 million in product sales during next 12 months equating to 100 robots. Identify, qualify, acquire, and develop 5 to 7 capable and successful channel partners in the territory. Submit complete and accurate proposal and forecast information. Utilize value base selling techniques with customers and demonstrate ROI (Return On Investment) sales approach to key customers.Your background
High School Diploma or GED and 9 years of sales experience or Associate's Degree and 7 years of sales experience or Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of sales experience (High School diploma is a minimum requirement, but an Associates or Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred). Experience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applications. Ability to work with a variety of levels of customer personnel from Management to Labor, professionally and technically represent ABB in front of customers. Proven experience in a matrix sales organization and ability to work autonomously. Readiness to do what it takes to develop a customer base, including cold calls if necessary. PC proficiency to include MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools. Salesforce experience a major plus.
