Robert Half Operating Risk Audit Specialist in Auburn, Maine

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Operating Risk Audit Specialist II in Auburn, Maine. This role operates within the industry, requiring the specialist to audit multiple products to ensure all imbalances are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. The specialist will also be required to research and resolve each audit issue, using established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive audits across various products in the Risk Management Portfolio

• Maintain a thorough understanding of current operational processes and procedures, and engage continually with these areas

• Respond promptly to imbalances on multiple products, taking necessary action to rectify discrepancies and identify the root cause

• Collaborate with both external strategic partners and internal Operations areas to assist in resolving issues, whilst advocating for process improvements

• Exhibit sound judgment when approving transactions and researching imbalances, evaluating the financial and operational impact before making decisions

• Complete daily processing tasks and compile periodic reports

• Uphold integrity in all actions, providing outstanding service and building trusted relationships

• Encourage innovation in products and services, whilst continually improving processes

• Support team members and work in partnership to achieve common goals

• Take personal accountability for deliverables and commitments

• Treat all team members with respect and dignity. Requirements

• Proficiency in Operations and Procedures.

• Strong Research skills, with the ability to conduct thorough Research Analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and other related software.

• Demonstrated experience in Audit and Auditing.

• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required.

• Knowledge of Networks and their functioning.

• Skill in identifying and resolving Discrepancy issues.

• Proven experience in Process Improvement.

• Strong understanding of Risk Management principles.

• Ability to work effectively with Business Units.

• Innovative thinker, with a drive towards Innovation.

• Skilled in Issue Resolution, with the ability to handle potential problems effectively.

• Ability to create and manage Exhibits as required.

• Ability to develop and implement Strategic Partners
