We're currently hiring for a Senior Quality Technician to join our 10 person, site QA group. The business purpose of this new role is to meet QA and Regulatory Requirements for finished product testing as well as release and execution of quality systems within the plant. This is a mid-senior level QA role with growth opportunity in QA systems, SAPQM, Quality Windows, Enovia, Veeva, calibrations, and regulatory requirements for Medical Devices. Work Schedule:

  • Normal schedule is day shift (8am-4:30pm) on a Monday through Friday schedule. Overtime will be required for flow to the work as well as to support opposite rotating schedule vacation. This work schedule may be modified from time to time to meet business needs.

  • Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule.

  • Additional days / shifts could be required to be worked as overtime.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Laboratory Controls and Lab System Owner supporting all site departments

  • Become site trainer, along with 1 other senior QA technician, for Quality Test Methods and maintaining of the Quality Test Method On-line Binders.

  • Support R&D Initiatives for quality testing and results recording for validation.

  • Become quality subject matter expert (SME) for manufacturing platforms. This will include ownership of diagnostic equipment calibration.

  • Supports engineering project groups for initiative quality testing and results recordings for validations.

  • Conducts required audits of internal quality systems per company metrics.

  • Supports regulatory audits and internal assessments.

  • Participate in annual customer Shelf Quality audits.

Job Qualifications

  • You must be 18 years of age or older

  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with NIST Traceable Calibration Requirements for Laboratory Equipment.

  • 2-5 years of experience with Laboratory systems for data integrity.

  • 2-5 years of experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of diagnostic equipment.

  • Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Ability to learn computer systems like Quality Windows, Veeva, RTCIS, Proficy, and SAP

  • Ability to complete tasks with a high degree of independence.

  • Demonstrated collaboration with multifunction teams.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail. Given the regulatory nature of our product this is critical for this role.

  • Able to work flexible shifts as required by business need.

Starting Pay: $35.09 /hr | Other benefits include
