Job Summary:

SK Siltron CSS has a unique opportunity at our Bay City site for a Growth Equipment Engineer. These roles require occasional off-hour support when necessary. Successful candidates must be willing to relocate to Michigan.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the optimal performance of the equipment within your area of responsibility. This includes:

Sustaining activities: PM, BM (breakdown recovery), Tool Availability (MTBF, MTTR)

Continual Improvement and Cost Reduction

Variability reduction primarily through TTTM (Tool-to-Tool Matching)

Develop, install, rebuild, upgrade, and/or redesign new tools

Work with other organizations (including R&D, Facilities, & Operations) to improve safety, quality, throughput, and reduce environmental impact

Provide technical leadership using various tools including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, DOE, SPC, OCAP, FMEA, and model based problem solving.

Physical Requirements:

L-Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience (Thin Film, Crystal Growth, PVT, induction heating. Metrology, CMP, and Clean advantageous)

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant experience (data analysis tools : Minitab, JMP, Spotfire etc)

Experience with CAD, Solid-works, and Simens PLC.

Pay Range: $73,000 - $85,000 per year
