Empower Federal Credit Union Branch Manager II - Auburn in Auburn, New York

Role: Accountable for achieving the sales, service, and operations goals of a level two branch with the expectation of delivering an exceptional member experience. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 35% Delivery of products and services to our members in a manner that adds member value and makes it easier to do business with us. Thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability to use all branch systems and equipment to perform all branch functions including BSR, MSR, FSR and Branch Supervisor functions. Work directly with members on escalated issues to insure they are satisfied. Ensure the branch achieves its sales and referral goals. Adhere to all daily processing guidelines and timeframes for fulfillment and servicing of branch-based account opening and transactions. 25% Responsible for building a talented and engaged team by direct management of branch staff. In collaboration with Human Resource and the Regional VP execute the Human Resources functions of branch staff including hiring and termination, creating development plans for all employees, conducting monthly one on one sessions, providing ongoing coaching on best practices, recognizing and monitoring individual and branch performance to set goals. Conduct at least monthly staff meeting. Effectively providing feedback to employees and addressing performance related issues of all direct reports. Responsible for communication to all employees in the branch. 25% Developing operational excellence with a focus on member service while also minimizing risk. Overall responsible for adherence to branch and credit union policy, procedure and compliance standards. Monitor key service and operational performance reports to ensure adherence to set standards. Keep informed of changes to policy and procedure and implement the changes at the branch. Collaborate with other departments to support their goals and the overall goals of the credit union. 10% Attend meetings and provide feedback to Regional VPs on front line activities to support the branch channel in operations, compliance, technical equipment needs, budgeting, and sales. Empower has identified and established role specific BSA compliance course training that will be assigned by role requirements through BVS and must be completed by the deadline specified. 5% Perform all other duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1. See Dayforce for Performance Goals. Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. NMLS Licensing required. Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software; must be able to use a PC and all types of general office equipment. 4.
