Aerotek Forklift Technician in Auburn, Washington

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair industrial forklifts and other material handling equipment such as engines, motors, hydraulics, and electronic controls.

• Dismantle machinery/equipment to diagnose the issue and accurately determine repair needed

• Lookup required parts (OEM)

• Reassemble machinery/equipment after completed repair and test

• Document results electronically in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean, presentable, customer facing service truck or work stall

• “Build” up the tools required to be a successful Technician overtime

• Strong Teamwork desire & capabilities

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Solid computer and application skills with attention to data entry and completed staff work

• Multitasking and time management skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. or more and/or crouch and crawl in confined area

• Willingness to learn new technologies Mechanical knowledge: 3-5 years

• Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Military experience a bonus
