Temp to Hire Opportunity!

Must be onsite in Audubon, PA 5 days/week

My client, a leader in the medical devices industry is seeking a hard-working and motivated individual with a strong accounting background and problem-solving skills to join our accounting and finance team.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask. A willingness to learn and grow is essential for success in this role.

The primary focus of the Accounting Manager role is to oversee all monthly close, reconciliation, and general ledger control activities for our domestic entities. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with the Director of Accounting to ensure a complete and accurate monthly close, deliver timely monthly reports and analyses, and assess and implement enhancements to the existing financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 3 accounting seniors

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries

• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations

• Prepare and review monthly variance analysis

• Prepare ad-hoc analysis at the request of management

• Ensure a strong internal control environment

• Assess and optimize financial processes and controls

• Identify areas for operational improvement and partner with other in Accounting, IT, and operations to implement changes

• Participate in the implementation of new systems and technology

• Be the point of contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors

• Establish and build cooperative working relationships with a cross-functional team

• Effectively communicate results with management

• Willingness to challenge the status quo and perform all tasks with an emphasis on developing automation and efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting

• SAP experience is highly preferred

• Must have strong knowledge of fixed assets

• CPA preferred

• Strong understanding of financial concepts and U.S. GAAP

• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills

• Advanced Excel skills

• Ability to meet assigned deadlines, work well under pressure, and provide timely results

• Have a collaborative style and be able to work effectively across functional groups and with various levels of management is required

Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

Salary range $55-$65/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
