Job Summary:Implements nutritional health education services for MaineGeneral employees who participate in our wellness program.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develops and provides nutritional programming, education, training, and coaching services throughout the organization and for the community

• Convenes multi-disciplinary teams to develop nutrition education, protocols, policies and procedures and leads teams on development of strategies on community outreach and engagement

• Designs interventions for individuals seeking chronic disease prevention and health promotion and provides clinical expertise through individual health coaching

• Reviews health data to determine need and develop appropriate interventions; develops evaluation mechanisms; participates in research projects

• Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business

Requirements:

• State of Maine license as a Dietitian (LD) required

• Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required

• State of Maine driver's license with acceptable driving record required
