DUTIES:

An Industrial Engineer with our organization performs the following professional duties: 1) Oversee engineering requirements and construction activities, including project designs and infrastructure methods for both commercial and residential construction projects.

2) Design engineering requirements and procedures to determine scope, timeframes, and pricing of construction projects to satisfy customer expectatio

3) Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of construction changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control

4) Review and analyze construction and engineering plans for future infrastructure and construction projects, including analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished construction.

5) Coordinate with project manager and construction supervisors to develop production and design standards and ensure that engineering requirements for project plan are followed.

6) Track project materials and construction costs and inventory to be sure correct materials are used for engineering requirements in plans, and for construction projects.

7) Modify engineering requirements and construction plans to adjust to project needs and requirements.

8) Review new project and engineering requirements to design projects to ensure safety, and to control project costs.

9) Utilize engineering skills, and exercise judgement within the context of various construction projects to provide solutions to meet safety requirements and project needs.

10) Work with licensing and permitting agencies to ensure that engineering requirements comply with local building codes.

11) Work with company leadership and management team when needed to provide input on engineering requirements for new project proposals and costs.

12) Review tools, equipment, and machinery to provide quality services for company engineering projects.

13) Identify and assess potential hazards to ensure safety throughout construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (or foreign equivalent education)

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 12 months experience in job offered or as Industrial Engineer

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: None

TRAVEL BENEFIT: Travel to anticipated and unanticipated worksites up to 10% of time.

SALARY: $ 69,410/ year BENEFITS: PTO available
