Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates the registration process and timelines for all training programs for all schools/colleges/departments for the Anschutz Medical Campus
Oversees and manages the coordination of HR training programs, including but not limited to new employee orientation, Crucial Conversations, performance management, etc., to include planning and setup of programs
Instructor scheduling/notifications
Catering
Ordering supplies
Tracking attendance
Room reservations and setup (tables, supplies, etc.)
Zoom Setup (Links and acting as moderator as needed)
Procurement of training supplies and resources to include: classroom supplies, vendor kits, and assessments
Continually evaluates processes and procedures and makes recommendations related to all aspects of training registration, program offerings, communication, etc., for inefficiencies and improvements.
Manages courses and sessions in Learning Management System
Develops templates for all L&D training materials such as but not limited to: general announcements, presentations, participant guides, handouts, and facilitators guides
Moderates and provides technical support for virtual (Zoom) courses

Minimum Qualifications:
Entry Level
A bachelor's degree in business, higher education administration, human resources, organizational development, or a field directly related to an accredited institution is required.
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Intermediate Level
A bachelor's degree in business, higher education administration, human resources, organizational development, or a field directly related to an accredited institution is required.
One year of professional experience, which included managing training programs, material design, and course facilitation or course moderating
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with all aspects of coordinating training programs and events
Experience with various forms of technology such as HCM systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), SkillSoft, LinkedIn Learning, or similar systems
Experience creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio
Experience with Microsoft Teams
Experiences with using platforms such as Canvas, Zoom Meeting and Zoom Webinar to conduct events, training, and meetings
Experience gathering and analyzing data
Previous experience in higher education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations in order to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resource challenges
Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion
Thorough knowledge of current management and leadership methods and best practices
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to analyze data and develop metrics

Join Central HR's Learning and Development team as a Learning and Development Coordinator. This role plays a vital part in providing logistics coordination for all HR-related training programs, managing training data, ensuring training data is reflected properly in HCM for each employee, and securing venues, presenter coordination, and event management. Additionally, this position is responsible for content management, oversight of our New Employee Orientation, and be a key member of our new LMS implementation team.
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. This role may need to travel to off-site locations as needed to help coordinate events.
