Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English and possess a solid understanding of HR practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide appropriate recommendations for resolution.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data entry.
Process payroll changes, benefits enrollment, and other HR-related transactions.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
Training and Development:
Coordinate employee training programs and professional development initiatives.
Identify training needs and collaborate with managers to address skills gaps.
Performance Management:
Assist with performance appraisal processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.
Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
