What You Will Be Doing:

As the Lead Technician you will be responsible for scheduling and productivity of the shop technicians. You will be the go to person for questions regarding difficult repairs and assist peers in developing their technical and diagnostic abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Open and close work orders, schedule all techs and work load.

  • Ordering parts from vendors when necessary

  • Assisting peers in developing their technical and diagnostic abilities

  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment

  • Post repair inspections

  • Spend half hour per day with each shop tech

  • Search for service letter, product updates and additional repairs.

  • Monitor life day labor and work in progress through service link

  • Communicate daily with customers regarding status updates using multiple means of communication

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.

  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

    Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should be able understand the requirements of time needed for scheduling work, keeping in mind current outstanding projects and employee schedules. You should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of schematics and diagrams, as well we have the ability to step in as a troubleshooter and instructor.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines and different types of equipment

  • Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams

  • Provide own tooling applicable

  • Exhibit teamwork mentality

    Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Prior supervisory skills
