Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Austin, Texas. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our accounting systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the compliance of our accounting practices with industry standards. This role is pivotal in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, developing system requirements, and providing training and support to end-users.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the existing accounting systems to identify areas of improvement and implement upgrades to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Work closely with finance and IT teams to facilitate the implementation and upgrades of accounting software.

• Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.

• Develop and document system requirements and configurations, ensuring the accounting systems are tailored to meet the unique needs of our operations.

• Deliver training and provide support to end-users, enhancing their understanding and usability of accounting software functionalities.

• Monitor system performance regularly and recommend enhancements or modifications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure the compliance of all accounting systems and processes with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Leverage your proficiency in CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Maps API, Microsoft Excel, About Time, AB Testing, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management to perform your role effectively.

• Collaborate with different department teams to optimize the use of accounting systems for improved financial reporting.

• Use your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and propose effective solutions. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and CRM

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Maps API is essential

• Experience with About Time and AB Testing is preferred

• Proficiency in database management is required

• Must have a strong understanding of auditing procedures

• Knowledge of budget processes is essential

• Experience in capital management is desirable

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus

• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.
