Assess and review existing training programs regularly to identify improvements and future training needs. Oversee the training team, working with internal support teams and subject matter experts to develop and update curricula and training programs. Design training initiatives that improve employee performance and efficiency while encouraging growth and career advancement within the department. Manage the UT Works and the Introduction to Leadership training programs established for staff of multiple UT departments.(40%)Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication regarding training for both internal and external stakeholders. Build effective relationships with Facilities Services and Campus Operations leadership, subject matter experts, and other UT departments. Lead a training team that develops and delivers training while supporting employees as needed. Keep the Associate Director of Facilities Services Support regularly updated on all training-related projects and initiatives. (35%)Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and report on all training programs' effectiveness, success, and adoption. When necessary, recommend and implement strategies to improve training programs, policies, and procedures.(10%)Manage and oversee the training budget, identify external opportunities, and select vendors for the department's leadership. Host vendors who provide on-site training. Ensure effective tracking of department training compliance using the UT-Austin staff learning management system and custom-built SharePoint tools. Ensure detailed quarterly status reports on upcoming and overdue training are produced.(10%)Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in training pedagogy to promote the training team's ongoing learning and implement effective training methods. Driver University vehicle. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy: UTS157 Section 2.5.4. (5%)Perform special projects and other related functions as assigned. Work is performed in accordance with normal trade practices and is inspected for conformity to standards, quality and quantity by journey-level employees or supervisor. Attends staff meetings, safety training and meetings.
