Develop and manage a portfolio of 100 -150 major gift prospects focusing on solicitations of $100,000 and above with mature prospects. Emphasis on portfolio and program building is to be expected in the first 2 years. Conduct at least 200 strategic in-person moves with prospects and donors per year, and participate in a minimum of 20 solicitations per year. Within 18 months of start date, consistently produce 2M+ per year.Aggressively identify, and formally qualify, new major and planned gift prospects by developing and executing long-range and short-range strategies and plans to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects, producing a continuous stream of donors capable of making gifts of $100,000 or more to the Longhorn Foundation. Collaborate with the Prospect Research, Management and Analysis team to assess prospects and develop strategies designed to realize the current and life-time giving potential of individual prospects.Serve as lead for projects and assignments in support of leadership giving priorities and fundraising goals. Duties include but are not limited to leveraging fundraising resources to expand strategy, department collaboration, program planning, internal and external communication, and donor engagement. Assist the Foundation leadership team in promoting an ethical culture supportive of campaign success and the overall strategic plan.Support annual fund initiatives, including but not limited to season ticket sales and renewals, Longhorn Foundation membership, and The DeLoss Dodds Leadership Team membership program.Ensure consistent and appropriate contact, facilitate or make solicitations, and ensure effective stewardship. Through collegial consultation and cooperation, demonstrate and be a model of collaboration in the University of Texas - Austin development community, while representing the Longhorn Foundations values and its unique role at the University of Texas at Austin.Have a comprehensive understanding of Texas Athletics priorities and make a persuasive verbal and written case for supporting key programs and projects, effectively matching the interests of prospects to specific Athletics Department needs.Consistently exemplify the core values and quality standards of Texas Athletics. Always act ethically. Proactively seek guidance when unsure or unclear of a law, rule or policy applicable to you or your department/sport program. Actively participate in assigned education and training programs. Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws.Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR.Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
