Job Description

The MSS /Broadcast Product Marketing Internwill provide technical marketing support for Skyworks’ broadcast products, which include products focused on automotive radio applications. Working closely with the applications engineering team, the candidate will have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in an environment of respect and responsibility. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in automotive radio. This position will report to the automotive radio product line manager (PLM) providing a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of product marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and assist in developing technical marketing collateral (data sheets, white papers, presentation slides, use cases, etc.) promoting Skyworks’ automotive radio products

• Analyzing and interpreting sales data

• Participating in special projects as required

• Support researching competitor products and marketing

• Support customer requests for information

• Support new product launch efforts

  Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or in an MBA program with an electrical engineering undergraduate. BS enrollees must have completed the equivalent of a third-year course curriculum

• Excellent verbal, writing, and editing

• Understanding the fundamentals of broadcast radio technology is a plus

• Knowledge of basic financial concepts is a plus

• Candidate should be a self-starter with high attention to detail

• Capable of working with cross-functional teams of engineers, marketing, sales, and operations

  The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
