Our customer base includes all sectors of the construction industry, oilfield suppliers, land management companies, and everyone else that needs a reliable option for their fleet.

United Fleet Management (UFM) has an immediate opening for a Business Development Representative (BDR). This position is critical to the success of our sales team, and we are seeking a dedicated team member who is innovative, tenacious, and passionate about achieving results. A successful candidate will have a track record of successfully identifying sales opportunities in the fleet leasing space. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new account prospects and supporting the sales team.

This role requires a confident and professional self-starter, a good listener, someone who is comfortable interfacing with senior level leadership, and is aggressive in finding and closing business. Proven success navigating complex sales and generating proposals in a start-up environment is critical.

Responsibilities:• Generate prospective commercial customers through cold calling & delivering United Fleet Management’s value proposition• Engage customers in qualitative discussion around their business needs to determine the value that UFM would provide• Schedule customer appointments and following up with them in a timely manner• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and competitors’ activities• Analyzing customer’s business to understand the company’s fleet needs

Qualifications:• B.A or B.S. degree, preferably in Business or Marketing• Previous sales experience calling commercial customers• Proven success of meeting and exceeding sales metrics• Experience utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for sales tracking and management• Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to develop strong customer relationships• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas• An inherent hunter mentality and lead generation expertise• Automotive Industry or Sales experience preferred

Compensation: Starting $40,000 base salary, and uncap commission (with an $80,000 OTE)
