Summary: Business Systems Analyst - based onsite in Austin, TX or Guadalajara, Mexico

As a Business Systems Analyst at Jabil, you will play a pivotal role as a change agent and provide essential support to the IT/technical teams for global sites undergoing new transformation activities. You will be primarily responsible for facilitating the implementation of SAP, Engineering Change Notices (ECN), B2B configurations, and Bill of Materials Management (BOM). Additionally, you will engage directly with customers, lead implementation project plans, and train team members on new BOM structures. This role requires a proactive approach to conduct gap analysis reviews between current and new systems, as well as providing ongoing support for SAP setup, ECNs, and Oracle.

What can you expect to do? ​

  • Act as a change agent, supporting global sites in implementing new transformation activities related to SAP, ECN, B2B configurations, and BOM management.

  • Lead the implementation of project plans for BOM changes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Conduct gap analysis reviews to identify differences between current processes/systems and new requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

  • Provide support for SAP setup, configuration, and maintenance activities.

  • Interface directly with customers to understand their needs and incorporate them into system configurations.

  • Train team members on new BOM structures and system functionalities.

  • Assist in troubleshooting system issues and providing solutions to ensure continuous operations.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to recommend improvements and optimizations.

    What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

  • Proficiency in SAP implementation and configuration is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes and B2B configurations.

  • Experience with Bill of Materials Management (BOM) systems and practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
