Google Cloud Program Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or a relevant advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in financial modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function

  • Experience in strategic finance and program management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry, different roles and incentives

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to direct and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Passion for driving strategic initiatives and achieving measurable results.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and implement financial strategies that support the organization's long-term growth objectives.

  • Conduct analysis to uncover opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and growth enhancement. Translate strategic insights into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

  • Oversee the execution of strategic finance projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes. Help streamline processes related to OPEX and Head Count (HC) management, and ROI frameworks to ensure seamless execution.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams to achieve project milestones. Establish robust performance tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, and proactively address challenges.

  • Guide the financial planning process Lead the alignment of long-range plans and annual operating plans between Finance and Business teams. Provide actionable insights, and develop and present compelling business insights to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
