Control Panels USA Financial Controller in Austin, Texas
Control Panels USA is seeking a Financial Controller to join our growing team. T he Financial Controller is responsible for accounting functions, preparing all tax forms, and keeping management abreast of financial deadlines, and any other financial matters of the company. The Financial Controller also manages health insurance. Lastly, the Financial Controller is responsible for all aspects of financial controls, costing, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 8AM-4:30PM with some overtime opportunities as needed.
Duties to include but not limited to:
QuickBooks & Epicor administration
Maintain job costing system.
Track fixed assets & depreciation.
Distribute and maintain petty cash.
Credit interest payments.
Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Accounts Receivable
Issue Credits/Refunds
Post customer payments to invoices.
Monthly sales tax returns and setup.
Monthly commission report
Monthly closures & journal entries
Quarterly TWC Unemployment paperwork , Alabama income tax, unemployment and 941 reporting.
Annual 940 report, 1099’s and W-2s
Annual audit of worker’s compensation
Annual audit of general liability insurance
Collaborate with outside accountant to furnish data for annual audit and tax returns.
Internal & external GAAP reporting
Commercial insurance administration, contract review, and annual bids
Administer 401K program, Annual Reports, Tax Deposits, 1099-R and Form 945 Return, Forfeitures and Work with Plan Administrator to Prepare Annual Audit of Plan
Monthly, quarterly, & annual closings & analysis
Provide financial data to and advise CP USA Management of company financial condition.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; develop solutions; prepare reports; make recommendations to management.
Any other task, assignments, duty, or projects, as requested by management.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, in a manufacturing/construction environment a plus
• 5+ years of Epicor Kinetic software experience in manufacturing/construction
• Strong oral and written communication skills,
• Organized and meticulous.
• Solid Analytical and critical thinking skills,
• Tracking budget expenses and developing budgets, strong excel and financing software
knowledge.
