Description

HRTA LLC seeks an FPGA Verification Engineer to develop and maintain proprietary software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control a low-latency blended hardware and software trading system (50%). Produce testing harnesses and processes in C++ and Python (10%). Apply and utilize advanced computer modeling, and other sophisticated software engineering methods to enhance trading platforms and hardware (15%). Design, program, test and modify field-programmable gate array (FPGA) applications software for our financial trading systems (15%). Troubleshoot systems in FPGA software and hardware in order to resolve operational issues (5%). Utilizing C++, Python and Linux scripting programming to develop scalable data storage and distribution systems (5%).

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or as Design Verification Engineer, or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience developing and maintaining software tools in C++ and Python to automate parts of the engineering workflow. Experience identifying root-cause issues and implementing hardware verification components. Experience debugging and troubleshooting hardware designs using the Verdi waveform tool. Experience debugging failures and resolving operational issues in the testbench using INDAGO debug and simulation software.
