UL, LLC International Project Manager-Medical Devices in Austin, Texas

The International Project Manager (IPM) position is a critical role that serves as an intermediary between the Medical Device organization and the Emergo Global Consulting firm. The IPM is responsible for planning and independently carrying out complex and high-level (often of a highly confidential nature) projects to achieve stated objectives.

This position is HYBRID. Employees are required to be on-site 3 days a week.

Independently plan and carry out complex and high-level (often of a highly confidential nature) projects to achieve stated objectives. Oversees and manages multiple projects as assigned, key coordinator between Emergo’s client base, international business development team, and global offices.

  • Project management and monitoring, evaluating strategic staffing both in response to and in anticipation of incoming business volume.

  • Serve as point of client contact for response to requests for assistance and manage deliverables for larger client accounts or where resources from multiple markets, offices or departments are required.

  • Interface with internal Emergo offices nationally and worldwide, and with other departments with regards to project intake, time tracking, invoicing, delivery and follow up.

  • Assist as liaison for Emergo consultants and critical suppliers, coordination of schedules, project calendar and availability tracking, assist with booking resources and timesheet management as assigned.

  • Utilize qualified resources, systems and financial tools to Plan, Staff, Implement, Control and Evaluate each assigned project.

  • Maintenance of secure and accurate client documentation.

  • Maintenance of project-related procedures and communication of same to employees and contractors to ensure consistent practices

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follows all physical and digital security practices

  • Performs other duties as directed

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent based on evaluation of credentials, training and/or experience)

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.

  • Great project management and organizational skills required

  • High attention to detail required.

  • Salesforce or other project management software experience preferred
