Description Are you a dynamic and experienced insurance detail oriented ready to join a highly collaborative team as the Director of Contracts & Commissions. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing operations and contracting duties for a global publicly traded insurance company. This leadership position reports directly to the VP of Accounting Operations, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization. What You Will Get to Do: Leadership: Review and approve all aspects of the operations and agent contracting process for our US Life and International life insurance business. Implement operational frameworks to enhance the agent experience, focusing on customer service, ease of doing business, and building long-term relationships. Supervise the licensing process, ensuring accuracy and improving data quality of agent information. Act as the primary point of contact for agent/producer inquiries, serving as a liaison between independent agents and internal stakeholders. Implement commission processing policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy of agent adjustments. Provide mentorship to entry level team members and create key operating procedures for knowledge transfer. Project Management: Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with internal partners to execute changes. Stay informed about relevant regulations, industry trends, and best practices. Manage and resolve conflicts in a constructive and detail oriented manner. Create and maintain key performance metrics, developing reporting/dashboards for Senior Management. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Requirements What You Need to Succeed: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of ten years’ experience. Experience in Client Services, Customer Service, Agent Service, etc. Team leadership and people management experience. Knowledge of life insurance products, market segments, and marketplaces. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills, including prioritizing and follow-up. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
