The origin of Mitsubishi goes back to 1870, when the founder, Yataro Iwasaki, started a shipping firm with three aging steamships. Yataro’s brother, son and nephew expanded the business into various fields during their respective terms as president and set the foundation of the Mitsubishi companies. After WWII, the original Mitsubishi organization was disbanded to become independent companies as they are today.

Job Purpose

  • Transformation: Map transformation projects led by Digital to the defined processes and Perform calibration/Management/Facilitation within the region.

  • Change Management: Establish MCG-style Change Management methodology, Perform Change Management activity in transformation projects, and Lead the design/execution of Change Management training to mindset within the region.

  • Drive the regional change, co-develop the change and training materials to be used within the region, and enable the local teams. Manage business change through appropriate communication and accelerate changes to be implemented.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with leadership to identify areas of needed change and develop actionable change management plans

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of change management specialist (in time) to ensure the effective delivery of change initiatives across the organization

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a liaison between senior management and employees

  • Change Initiatives: Oversee the design, implementation, and tracking of change management initiatives, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, training programs, and resistance management plans

  • Metrics, Analysis and Communication: Monitor and report on the status of change initiatives, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI). Lead internal communications regarding change initiatives, including updates to executive teams and broader staff.

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks and roadblocks related to change initiatives and develop plans to mitigate them

  • Training and Development: Oversee the development of training materials and facilitate training sessions as needed to support change initiatives

  • Cultural Alignment: Ensure that change initiatives are aligned with organizational culture and values

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Bachelors degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or IT

  • A minimum of 5-7 years in change management or related areas- required

  • Proven experience in managing a team

  • Transformation experience with change management skills

  • Leadership experience with applicable negotiation skills

  • Organizational management experience is preferred

  • 5+ years of working experience in IT department (any field such as application development, infrastructure, security, etc.) is preferred

  • Experience in operating MCG business would be preferred

  • (Global) Program management

  • Strong project management skills

  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and influencing

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of business processes

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

  • Change management methodology practitioner is preferred

  • Ability to work in a global, complex business environment including multiple time zone and diverse geographic locations

  • Ability to respond flexibly to change and keep motivation high

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

  • The salary range for this position is $101,00-$151,400. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
