SHI Microsoft Business Development Manager in Austin, Texas

Job Summary

The Microsoft Business DevelopmentManager aimstoidentifyand generate sales opportunities and meetings with prospects through outbound calling activities and profiling accounts.  This role is one of the firsttouchpointsfor prospects of the sales cycle for Enterprise acquisition accounts. 

This position isrequiredto report to theAustin, TXoffice location asdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

  • Drive account growth for SHI by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into newaccounts.

  • Cold calling and uncovering opportunities and meetings.

  • Updating profile information intheclient relationship managementsystem.

  • Contacting qualified prospects through email touches and phone conversations.

  • Actively staying on top of company, competition, and technology knowledge.

  • Scheduling introductory appointments fornamed sellers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired

  • 1+ years ofCRM experience

  • 1+ years of salesand cold-callingexperience

  • 1+yearsof Microsoft sales Experience Preferred

Required Skills

  • Proficiencyin business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Desire to learn, ability to accept feedback,and incorporate new strategies&ideas

  • Strong collaboration skills in a team setting

  • Effectively communicate complex subject matter – both verbally and written

  • Desire to learn and a winningtrackrecord

  • Continue mastering the basic concepts ofprofessionalism,sales,andtechnology while building yourbrand

  • A passionfor huntingfor new business (Cold Calling)

Certifications Required

  • Microsoft Certifications Preferred

Unique Requirements

  • The positionrequires 25% travel to attend conferences & visit customer sites.

Additional Information

  • This position’s estimated annual pay range is $70,000 - $150,000, including a base salary and commission. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.Benefits may include but are not limited to medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
