SRS Distribution Inc. Regional Commercial Project Manager in Austin, Texas

The Regional Commercial Project Manager reports to Regional Sales Manager. The Project Manager manages the profitability of all commercial roofing sales activity throughout the assigned market(s). and is directly responsible for all commercial roofing quoting, tracking, ordering and inventory management.

Essential Duties:

  • Directly responsible for performance of our regional commercial roofing product category.

  • Coordinate, plan and forecast the regional growth of our commercial footprint, adding and monitoring product opportunities that will add value to our customer base and drive additional profits for the region.

  • Negotiate the best possible purchasing arrangements with our commercial vendors.

  • Constantly monitor orders and inventory within each location and work with each Branch Manager and Regional Manager to adhere to minimum and maximum inventories.

  • Maintain live list of bid opportunities, quotes, margin, and track success rates.

  • Work closely with territory managers, area sales manager, and the branch management team to drive new commercial opportunities, always encouraging positive customer relations. Keep sales force current with changing market conditions and products.

  • Act as an extension of our credit department, reviewing ship-to for potential pricing concerns, tax exclusions, lien notices, etc.

  • Assist in resolving commercial customer complaints/issues in a prompt and courteous manner that meets customer’s satisfaction and remains cost effective to company.

  • Convey a can-do positive attitude with fellow employees and customers at all times.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

  • Employee Education- Set Up Commercial Products/Vendor PK’s

  • Vendor Negotiations- Pricing

  • Customer Relations- Large and small scale contractors

  • Order Facilitation and Management for specific direct orders

  • Sales Improvement

  • Margin Improvement

  • Product Selection and “Big Picture Inventory Management”

  • Attracting additional lines of commercial products

  • Overall Strategy and image of our commercial efforts
