Analyzes and models omics data (genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, microbiome) using bioinformatics, biostatistics, and machine learning methods. Prepares, cleans up, and quality-control biological data, including multidimensional omics data modalities. Reads literature, gathers relevant information systematically, and confer with the supervisor regarding new procedures.Implements and quality-check R/Python/Bash scripts for pipeline automation, data parsing, visualization, and other processing related to omics data analysis.Develops computational methods as needed for omics data analysis.Assists in the production of high-quality publication-worthy results.Presents results during lab meetings, department, and institutional meetings and seminars, and appropriate scientific conferences.Participates in BCGs educational and training efforts by putting together documentation, video tutorials, or in-person teaching.Other duties as assigned.
