Provide consultation, coaching and partnership to Texas McCombs managers, departments, and leadership on HR operations, including performance management, staffing needs, position description development, and classification reviews in accordance with University policies and procedures, Texas McCombs practices as well as federal and state regulationsManage hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding processes and activities for Texas McCombs staff members. Regularly meet with new hires to ensure compliance with federal regulations and University onboarding policies, lead monthly welcome activities in partnership with the McCombs Staff Advisory Council, conduct exit interviews and manage applicable leave payouts for separating staff members. Partner with Texas McCombs stakeholders to develop and implement trainings and engagement activities that align with the Texas McCombs strategic plan and fosters an environment of continuous learning.Manage approval processes and a high volume of electronic business processes in Workday that encompass the full staff lifecycle. Review timesheets and coordinate extended leaves in accordance with McCombs practices and University policy as well as state regulations.Communicate and administer University policies, regularly respond to inquiries from employees and managers regarding all aspects of employment, and provide referrals to appropriate campus resourcesSupport the Texas McCombs Annual Staff Awards recognition event and other key McCombs HR activities related to faculty and student employment?
