As a Senior Product Safety and Quality Analyst, you'll contribute to our commercialization process, ensuring that every product meets our high standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop appropriate chemical , microbiological, physical, and shelf-life test requirements for products based on supplier data, existing testing profiles, all applicable regulatory requirements, food safety or product safety risk, and all WFM-specific requirements .

  • Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product developers, our legal team, and suppliers to ensure that our products not only meet regulatory standards but also exceed customer expectations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive quality initiatives, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions to maintain product consistency and safety.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior analysts , sharing your expertise and guiding them in their roles.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science , Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (a graduate degree is a plus).

  • 4-6 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), including hands-on experience at manufacturing sites.

  • Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Certification and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Certification  required .

  • Experience with high-complexity product categories such as Baby Food, Pet Food , Household Cleaners, and more.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time, including overnight stays .  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) .

  • Experience with natural and organic foods preferred .  

  • Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) or other quality and product safety auditing systems experience preferred .  

  • Experience using specification databases and/or product lifecycle management systems preferred .
