Job Title: Software Engineer- Autonomous Sensor Integration

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to focus on sensor configuration, review sensor logs and issues, support debugging of camera device drivers, and apply firmware updates and data measurement. This role involves 50% software/sensor integration and 50% test and validation/HIL. Responsibilities include working with HIL systems and sensors, understanding sensor integration issues, and collaborating with remote teams. You will handle onsite debugging, develop sensor components, pull data from sensors, and resolve issues for sensor components. Your task will include getting the HIL and trucks up and running, performing component-level testing, and setting up HIL systems. Additionally, you will collect data, work with team members, and provide data to the right teams to update the sensor software on the truck.

Hard Skills

  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting environment

  • 2+ years of integration and troubleshooting code – sensor driver integration

  • Linux

  • Python

  • Knowledge of CI/CD

  • Lidar sensor for firmware updates

  • Camera driver data review and debugging failures

  • GPS GNSS sensors

  • Radar sensors

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.
