Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an embedded Linux software engineer to join a Software Defined Radio company in Austin. This role can be fully remote or onsite. This individual will be responsible for embedded coding in C and Linux directly onto hardware. In this role they will be working with the Sr. software engineers, Jr. software engineers as well as with the hardware engineering team to build out and maintain the company's product line. Embedded coding experience in the radio frequency industry is preferred but not required. The candidate must be familiar with coding on bare metal devices. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be familiar with Python scripting, the Atlassian suite, and C++.
