Summary of Role:

The S&OP & Planning Strategy Lead at GlobalFoundries will be able to participate in the design of the new global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and support the execution of that process. This role is critical to supporting our overall supply chain transformation and is on a high visibility team. An exciting Supply Chain opportunity, at an exciting time, at an exciting company.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and lead the design, development, and implementation of the S&OP process across the enterprise

  • Coach cross functional teams on best practices to ensure alignment and agreement with consensus demand plan, supply commit, and financial plan globally

  • Manage special topics as they arise, leading efforts through cross functional collaboration and detailed analyses to align on problem statements, identify potential solutions and their respective impact on cost, service, inventory, etc.

  • Ensure proper escalation of topics that arise through the S&OP process, as needed, including development of decision proposals

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts for our S&OP and planning processes in relation to content and flow of the meetings as well as cross functional stakeholder engagement

  • As a component of the S&OP process, participate in other strategic meetings (e.g., stage gate for NPL, Category Strategy Planning) to ensure integration and synchronization of marketing, R&D efforts with Supply Chain and Financial plans/activities

  • Ensure alignment and cascade of information, decision and actions from Corporate to Regional and functions; responsible to drive completion of identified actions with responsible stakeholder

  • Support planning organization in What-If/Scenario analysis

  • Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (minimum)

  • Experience – Minimum of 4-7 years experience in the following:

  • Experience in S&OP and demand or supply planning function

  • Deep knowledge of S&OP / IBP, demand planning and supply planning

  • Experience with Demand Planning and S&OP modules within an ERP system (Oracle, SAP)

  • Experience with leading cross functional meetings through IBP / S&OP processes

  • Ability to work with relevant planning tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, E2Open, Kinaxis) in support of analytics driven decision making

  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen

  • Skills – knowledge and experience with S&OP process, demand planning, and supply planning functions/processes. Experience with Demand Planning and/or S&OP software; worked in an ERP environment (i.e. SAP or Oracle)

  • Travel - Up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously

  • Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales stakeholders

  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting to and working with senior leadership stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Expected Salary Range

$82,300.00 - $181,000.00
