Robert Half Staff Accountant in Austin, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Austin, Texas. The Staff Accountant will be a critical part of our team, focusing on managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of invoices and coordination of payments, contributing to the efficient management of accounts payable and receivable.

• Regularly prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts, maintaining the accuracy of our financial data.

• Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing vital support to our financial planning processes.

• Contribute to the annual audit process by supplying necessary documentation and information.

• Ensure all financial operations adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements, upholding our commitment to legal compliance and ethical business practices.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing crucial data and insight to support strategic decision-making.

• Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP, to streamline and improve accounting processes.

• Use your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close to enhance the efficiency of our accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to perform Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close process

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
