Direct, perform, and develop advanced engineering and scientific research projects for a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC).Contribute to management efforts for the execution of research programs including project tasking, timelines, budgets, staffing, reporting, and deliverables. Facilitate research efforts as required and assist with execution of tasks as needed.Coordinate and manage internal project meetings to facilitate group planning and progress reporting.Process and analyze acoustic data, as well as model acoustic behavior, for developing, testing, and evaluating SONAR systems.Travel to remote locations to provide support for data collection and processing efforts at sites and at sea.Preparation and review of analysis presentations and technical reports, and presentation of results at internal and external meetings. Would include travel to present at external working group meetings, as well as directly to sponsors.Collaborate with and participate in dynamic, multi-functional teams in support of specific program objectives.Assist with data transfer processes and ensure compliance with security requirements.Work on special projects as assigned.
