Our population consists of special education students who require outplacement to a therapeutic clinical day school. Job Summary * Works with interdisciplinary team to develop curriculum, manage the milieu and communicate in the psycho-educational environment. * Plans and implements academic plans for special education students. * Work with multidisciplinary team to support development of behavior support plans and FBA’s. * Implements aforementioned plans. * Responsible for educational assessments - formal and informal * Participate in the school’s evolving culture * Serves as student advisor * Reports to the principal * Current CT teaching certification (065) in Special Ed and/or specific curriculum area with ability to DSAP. * Experience in similar setting preferred. * Communication and interpersonal skills. * Understanding of child development. * Bachelors Degree.
