Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applies general knowledge of accounting and financial record-keeping methods, procedures, practices to the processing and recording of financial transactions and information for fixed assets.

  • Responsible for performing work that is accurate, timely, and relevant, and independently identifying and correcting any errors that may occur.

  • Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Supports an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

  • Participates in a clean and timely year end audit. Provides audit assistance, preparing reconciliations as requested, responding to inquiries from auditors as directed.

  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial data.

  • Supports the reporting of all monthly financial information.

  • Supports the Accounting department with the handling of routine and non-routine reporting transactions.

  • Supports the Accounting Manager and/or members of management on special projects, annual audit and year-end activities

  • Works closely with the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

  • Other duties as assigned in support of the operation.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) path is desired, but not required
