We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our clients medical team in Tehachapi, CA! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front and back-office operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and communication skills. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our medical practice, interacting directly with patients and ensuring a positive experience. Pay Rate: $16/HR

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8AM-5PM

Responsibilities:

Make outgoing calls to schedule appointments and confirm schedules with patients.

Answer inbound calls and provide assistance to patients with inquiries.

Collect co-pays from patients and verify insurance eligibility.

Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for efficient organization and management of tasks.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Collaborate with team members and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certification is required.

Current BLS Certificate

Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting.

Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and organization.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions.

Clean background check and drug screening are mandatory.
