This is a paid training program for new graduate registered nurses. RN preceptors and clinical staff provide mentoring, guidance, and education to new graduate registered nurses during a 12-month period to develop their confidence and competency. The residents are hired into a varied shift which requires the selected candidates to work day and night shifts. The program is intended for new registered nurses with less than 1 year of acute care experience. We encourage, grow, challenge and validate nursing skills to ensure the residents are able to manage time effectively and deliver safe patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • California RN license

  • BLS (through the American Heart Association) prior to the start date of February 24, 2025.

  • RN Residents must obtain an (ACLS) at the end of the month following 10 weeks of hire.

  • Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited nursing program within one year prior to the start of the residency and have less than 1 year of acute care nursing experience.

  • You will be expected to commit to at least two years of full-time employment on the hiring unit after the completion of training.

Pay Range

$42.11 - $73.08 /hour
