Optical Operations Data Analytics Manager - Duties include

collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a data analytics strategy that aligns with the optical department's goals and objectives. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Oversee the collection and integration of data from various optical systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Lead data analysis efforts to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive process improvements and cost efficiencies. Create and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with optical operations teams to identify areas for improvement in processes, inventory management, and customer service. Implement data-driven solutions to optimize supply chain, inventory levels, and staffing. Analyze customer data and feedback to enhance the optical shopping experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Develop customer segmentation strategies for targeted marketing efforts. Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning. Provide guidance and support for professional development. Ensure data governance policies and procedures are in place to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security. Stay updated on data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and ensure compliance. Manage the budget for data analytics initiatives, allocating resources effectively and tracking expenditures. Provide cost estimates for data-related projects; Collaborate with departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to understand their data needs and support data-related projects. Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Fully remote position. Can work anywhere in the U.S. Salary $104,312.00 per year.

Min. Requirements:

Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field plus 4 years of experience required in a Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related occupation.

Experience Must Include

: 4 years of experience in data analytics; 3 years of experience in optical operations analytics; 4 years of experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL); 3 years of experience with data visualization tools in the optical industry (e.g., Tableau, Power Bl); 3 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling; 1 year of experience with healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
