Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Application Support Engineer in the non-profit industry, based in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining applications, generating reports, and database queries using SQL. This role involves remote work and is critical in supporting our technological infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain applications, which include managing the bug-fix process, addition of enhancements or new modules, modifying workflows and configurations

• Administer and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security

• Query and/or analyze application data to provide insights and aid decision-making

• Generate reports and database queries using SQL, efficiently extracting and presenting data

• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications for developers and testers to follow

• Use skills in Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, AB Testing, Active Directory, Application Support, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management

• Optimize SQL - Structured Query Language usage, including query optimization and SQL optimization

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient application operations

• Troubleshoot and resolve any application-related issues in a timely manner. Requirements • Candidate must have a strong understanding and experience with Cisco Technologies

• Proficiency in Database management is essential

• Familiarity and experience with Dell Technologies is required

• Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems is a must

• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and systems

• Experience with AB Testing is necessary

• Active Directory experience is required

• Must have a demonstrated history of Application Support

• Computer Hardware knowledge and experience is necessary

• A strong understanding of Configuration Management is essential

• SQL experience is necessary

• Must have knowledge of SQL - Structured Query Language

• Experience with Query Optimization is required

• SQL optimization skills are necessary

• Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred but not essential

• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• A proactive approach to work and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is necessary

• Must have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
