Our client is seeking a Business Analyst for the Derivative Post Trade Operations (DPTO) team, focusing on the affirmation and confirmation of derivative trades across the Equity asset class. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales, traders, trade support, drafting, legal teams, and global DPTO counterparts to resolve internal bottlenecks, address client queries, and ensure timely trade confirmations, managing risk and exposure for the firm.

Key responsibilities include checking and reconciling client trade details, assisting in product and business enhancements, and facilitating the movement of clients onto electronic matching platforms. Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential, as the role involves significant interaction with both internal and client-facing teams. The candidate must be able to work efficiently under time pressure and contribute to strategic projects aimed at establishing a consistent global approach across all asset classes.

salary: $21.33 - $21.34 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • They will work to resolve any internal bottlenecks or client queries and ensure confirmation of trades in order to manage risk and exposure for the firm.

  • Other aspects of the role include the checking and reconciliation of client trade details and assisting in the development and management of any enhancements to the product and business including the movement of clients onto electronic matching platforms.

  • As the role involves working closely with both internal and client facing teams strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential.

  • The ability to work at a fast pace and under time pressures is also vital.

  • The candidate will also be involved projects and enhancements, building upon our strategic goal of creating a consistent global approach using the same systems across all asset classes.
